ENTERING THE 2009 ADMA AWARDS

Getting your work recognised as ADMA-worthy in this particular Annus Horribilis is going to carry extra kudos. To help you achieve that, we've made entering the Awards easier than ever.

Entry is open to any advertiser, agency, client, consultant or producer. Campaigns must have originated and been executed in Australia between 1 January 2008 and 30 July 2009.

Follow the step by step instructions below.

STEP 1: REGISTER AND CHECK ELIGIBILITY

Anyone wishing to enter the 2009 ADMA Awards must first register their details online in order to gain access to entry forms.

Entries must have been created between 1 January 2008 and 30 July 2009, except CRM campaigns entered which can have run for a minimum of one year prior to 30 July 2009. Work entered in any previous ADMA Awards cannot be re-entered in the 2009 ADMA Awards, with the exception of CRM entries.

STEP 2: CHOOSE THE CORRECT CATEGORIES

The ADMA Awards are divided into Effectiveness and Creative sections. There are a total of 30 categories that can be entered. Each category is clearly articulated with a description of what type of work is eligible. Please take care to select the appropriate category as while ADMA reserves the right to reassign entries to an alternative category if deemed incorrectly entered, incorrectly entered work may also be disqualified.

STEP 3: COMPLETE ENTRY FORM

All entries must be completed using the official entry forms.

Please ensure accuracy of all details on your entry forms, as this information will be used for the Awards Presentation and the Winners Book.

When entry forms have been completed, you will need to print two copies to include with your entry. Please print single sheets only, no double-sided forms.

STEP 4: PREPARE ENTRIES

Once forms have been completed, you must also prepare the work on presentation boards and include one full sample of the creative for judging.

Boards must be prepared according to guidelines or entries will be disqualified. Attention to detail is important as Judges may also mark down poorly assembled entries.

Remember, you are responsible for preparing your entries correctly and should double-check all materials are compliant with our rules and specifications before submitting their entry. ADMA accepts no responsibility for incorrectly prepared entries, missing materials or for URLs and supplied files which are not operational during judging.

STEP 5: COMPLETE A CHECKLIST AND PAY ENTRY FEES

Each entrant organisation must complete and submit one official checklist that lists ALL entries and includes payment details.

Hard copies of your entry forms and checklist must be accompanied by a cheque made payable to ADMA, credit card details or a receipt confirming a direct deposit of the full entry fees.

2009 ADMA Awards entry fees, inclusive of GST, are:

FOR ADMA MEMBERS
Single Entry: $170
Campaign Entry: $200

FOR NON-ADMA MEMBERS
Single entry: $220 each
Campaign entry: $260

STEP 6: DELIVER ENTRIES BY THE DEADLINE

All entries MUST be received by the closing date of 5pm Thursday, July 30 in order to ensure the correct processing of work in preparation for judging.

Late entries will only be accepted until an extended deadline of 5pm Wednesday August 5th, however they will be subject to a 20% late processing fee that will be added automatically to your payment.

Remember, you can avoid potential disqualification, error and penalties by submitting your entries correctly and by the due date. Ample time is provided to prepare and submit the work, so start early and if you have any queries, contact the ADMA Awards Manager.
